Marketing in a weak economy part#3
Okay, so now you should have articles in your Blog (part 1) and the same articles submitted to article directories (part 2) spreading the word about your business and providing links to your website.
Now what?
Well, hopefully you have been collecting names and emails from your visitors either by offering them subscriptions to your newsletter or some other free information or offer. Now we use email marketing to send targeted offers and information to specific groups of people. It’s really not as hard as it sounds. Especially if you have an email marketing system such as Constant Contact to do all the work for you.
Just upload your list, select from an assortment of templates, create your newsletter or special offer and the program takes care of the rest. You can select which contacts get which offers and schedule when they get them. Constant Contact even helps make sure you follow all the rules so you won’t get tagged as “Spam” and has many suggestions about how to get the best results. You can send as many emails as you like but be careful not to over do it or you’ll annoy your potential clients. No more than once/week is usually okay depending on the content.
Most importantly, Constant Contact keeps track of who opens your emails and when, who clicks on which links, if there are any delivery issues, etc, etc and presents it all in an easy to follow report format. This is vital marketing information if you want to attract and keep clients (and if you don’t then why are you even reading this?)
The cost is as low as $15/month compared to hundreds or even thousands of dollars for traditional direct mail marketing. Visit our website or Constant Contact to learn more about this powerful marketing tool or just contact me if you have any other questions about how Concepts ‘n’ Creations can help your business grow.
Until next time…
