Follow up or else…
So, you’ve been studiously following my suggestions here at The Buzz and you’ve managed to collect contact information from all of your customers. Now you have this huge list of people who have bought something from you or have at least inquired. Now What?
Numerous studies have shown that not only does it cost a lot less in marketing to previous or current clients, they are also 10 times more likely to buy from you again than a new client (assuming you did a good job, that is). That’s why all the marketing “experts” will tell you “The Money is in the List” and they have you create all sorts of ways to capture information to create this very important list.

Oh yeah, that’s another thing. You’ll need to actually have the next logical thing to offer them. If you don’t (and you’re not selling coffins) you better come up with something and then something else and something else and so on…
BUT, keep in mind that this is NOT the hard core, in your face, annoying sales pitch that will quickly lose their trust in you and drive them away. This is simply you, their new friend, offering some useful information to simply allow them to make a 2nd or 3rd buying decision based solely on their satisfaction with their first experience with you.
